Many attorneys practice family law, but Borgos Law goes above and beyond to give our Family Law clients the best. Our team works hard to prepare clients for what will come in these cases. During a divorce, custody dispute, child support proceeding, or an adoption, we strive to meet the needs of each individual client with flexible meetings, expanded availability, and simple communication. Our divorce, custody, and adoption clients appreciate our availability when questions arise in their case or when they just need some information. The flexibility of a virtual office allows the team to stay in contact with you during your divorce, custody dispute, or adoption - whether it’s through phone calls, text messaging, email, or through our unique client portal where your case is accessible seven days a week.
Borgos Law also has the inside track to help medical cannabis patients in Family Law proceedings such as divorce, custody, and adoption proceedings. Minnesota's 2014 medical cannabis program offers unique protections for medical cannabis patients in Minnesota. Patients in Minnesota should not be denied custody, visitation, or parenting time with a child based on their status as a medical cannabis patient in Minnesota. There is no presumption of neglect or child endangerment for patients within the medical cannabis program. The team at Borgos Law was a part of multi-organizational push that passed the law in 2014, and they continue to work through non-profit organizations to guide patients through the program and expand these protections to patients not currently qualified and those who can't afford the current program.
We believe everyone deserves access to legal services, and our virtual firm platform allows us decreased overhead and you more affordable costs. Family Law clients will have on-demand electronic access to all the filings in their divorce, custody, or adoption case.
Our clients deserve a fair trial and that the State prove its case against them beyond a reasonable doubt.
